Registration for all of the Practical Woodworking courses offered takes place online only twice per year. Semi-annual registration days for these Practical Woodworking classes are held on the Second Saturday in July and the First Saturday in December of each year.
If you are fortunate enough to find an immediately available Open Bench position in any the listings on the Course Schedule Page you are encouraged to reserve it for yourself before the class is fully sold out which generally happens very quickly once any offering of this course is posted. Regardless if all course offerings are sold out, you will still be able to enroll in the next available offerings by sending a simple email request to JDLohrWood@aol.com indicating that you would like to be notified when the next class will be available for enrollment. Having the advantage of being notified of an impending update of a new offering will insure you an opportunity to enroll in the course as soon as it does come available.
If you are thinking about enrolling in one of the yet to be listed courses running January through June 2011 all you need to do is email me a request to be put on the "Advanced Notification List". Instructions will follow within 48 hours of making contact with me at JDLohrWood@aol.com
Sending an email is in no way an obligation to enroll. All it does is get you on the list to get updated when the next set of courses will come available. I swear on my life, I do not share any personal information with anyone else. Your emailing me is for communications between you and the Lohr School of Woodworking and absolutely nothing more. I have no sponsor and have no angle to try to sell you something other than just taking my course, cross my heart, hope to die.
On some rare occasions you may find one or two open bench positions immediately available on the current course schedule page. However, as most courses sell out very quickly on each registration day, in general most interested folks that wish to enroll will generally have to email me to get on the Advanced Notice List. By emailing me, you will get a notice of upcoming available course dates before they are actually posted on line. As the next registration is coming up on July 10, 2010 and the classes generally sell out within hours of posting online, emailing me expressing interest will get you into a course on registration day if you participate in the registration. The last registration day for all currently SOLD OUT courses was held on December 5, 2009 at 10:00am Eastern Time.
The next registration for all courses to be offered from January through June 2011 WILL BE HELD at: 10:00am Eastern Standard Time. Saturday July 10, 2010 by emailing me, you get an advanced preview of the upcoming new listings and thus are informed in advance of the dates prior to them becoming formally available and posted on this site. With this advanced information, and being knowledgeable of the posting date, you insure yourself a position at the front of the line for enrollment.
