MORINGACOMMUNITY.ORG RECEPTION, EXHIBITION AND ART AUCTION JUNE 14, 2008 Physical attendance to this extraordinary event is by invitation only to donors and project supporters. It is not too late to be invited! All you need do is give us some tangible support before June 8, 2008 and we will extend an invitation. You would not be reading this if you where not fully impressed by the extraordinary African Art we will be auctioning on June 14th to raise much needed funds for this grass roots project. That said, if you are at all savvy about "real" fine art you will know original paintings of this quality at any art show or gallery are priced at $2,000 to $8,000. One of our exhibiting artists is the renown Godwin Adjei Sowah of Cape Coast, Ghana. Godwin has generously donated this work because he believes in this project and has embraced how effective it can be if we gather enough support. The reserve starting bid on each piece is only to cover Godwin's materials and his shipping costs to get this work to us. This "starting bid" portion that is listed on the photos of the paintings shall be payable to Abubakar Abdullai who is personally reimbursing the sending artist. This starting bid portion is not tax deductible. The remaining balance portion of the winning bid is however fully tax deductible and shall be payable to PGMC Helping Hands. If you cannot attend our auction you can still obtain one of these stunning if you are the high bidder.
