The required project for Practical
Woodworking 101 is a hall table project. It should be
understood that the project is not the focus of the course. What you learn
about the process of woodworking is the focus of the course. The project
is merely the vehicle to get students to put into practice the methods taught in
the class.

Transportation of project: The hall table project will fit in the back seat
of most sedan type automobiles for taking the project home after completing the
course. For students that are traveling by air and not driving, the
project can be constructed to final point of assembly and shipped via UPS in
pieces in packaging available at Lohr School of Woodworking. A small fee
for bubble wrap, strapping tape, boxing etc is charged if this is
required.
